About Ryan Donoghue.

Ryan Donoghue was born in Ridgewood New Jersey, but at 8 years old his family moved to outskirts of Los Angeles to the semi rural community of Agoura Hills.

Ryan was lucky enough to have a neighbor who was a professional illustrator.  It was this neighbor who encouraged Ryan and gave him his first push into the world of art.

From there Ryan attended Art Center College of Design and California Institute Of The Arts where he received his degree in Animation.  He's worked on shows like Futurama and Baby Blues. Later he worked for a long while at Rhythm & Hues Studios moving up to Animation Director on Projects like Alvin and The Chipmunks 3: Chipwrecked and Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters.

For the last few years he’s been supervising the creation and installation of all animated media for the first ever Mickey Mouse them park ride: Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway!
Newly opened on March 4, 2020 Runaway Railway will take riders on a fantastic trip through a cartoon world brought to life. For Ryan, its been an amazing opportunity to help bring one of the worlds most iconic characters to life as a themed attraction.
